        A native of Bloomington, Indiana, Sam comes from a family of teachers. His primary instrument is the guitar (acoustic and electric) and he specializes in blues, jazz, rock, bluegrass, and world folk music. Sam graduated from Indiana University in 1999 with a BA in Anthropology. His focus of research was world music and culture. After graduation, Sam spent ten years living in Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Argentina. While abroad, he studied music at the Prague Conservatory, worked as an English teacher (TEFL), taught private music lessons, and performed with a variety of bands. Since his return home, Sam has continued teaching, performing, and practicing.

Sam is a teacher with 25 years of teaching experience and is committed to helping his students realize their goals.

Individual lesson rates :

$35 per half hour

OR

$100 per month (30 minute lessons) – $200 per month (60 minute lessons)
